Overview

Ratangad is very popular place for trekking in Maharashtra and also one of the famous Bhandardara tourist places. The fort is located at a height of 4250 feet. Ratangad Fort is 400 year old fort, which was used by Maratha warrior Shivaji Maharaj. The fort has four gates known as Ganesh, Hanuman, Konkan and Trimbak.

4.00 am: Reach the base village Ratanwadi Post breakfast start your trek to Ratangad 8.00 am : Reach and explore the fort watch the magical flowering on the top 10.00 am: Start your descent down and reach by lunchtime Later have a late lunch and depart to Pune Arrive in Pune by 10.00 pm Note:Note that flowering in the Sahyadri's start from mid Sept to end of Mid November and is an ideal season for the same however due to natural activity you may sometimes get no flowering or less flowering too in this scenario any kind of amount is non refundable.
