Overview

Locally Known As Alichi Bagh, Alibaug Is A Popular Beachside Destination Located In The Konkan Region Of Maharashtra. Surrounded By The Arabian Sea, Its Sun-Soaked Beaches, Historical Forts And Picturesque Picnic Spots Make It A Perfect Weekend Getaway.

Earlier, Alibaug was known as Kolaba, attributed to the Kolaba Fort which was built by Shivaji in 1680 CE. Located in the Konkan region of Maharashtra, Alibaug is well known for its beautiful beaches and ancient forts.

One of the top places to visit in Alibag, the Alibaug Beach is a black-sand beach which offers the panoramic sight of the Kolaba Fort from the shores. It is famous for its picturesque sceneries of sunrise and sunset.
