Overview

Auli is India’s premier skiing destination, located in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand at an altitude of around 2,500–3,000 meters. Surrounded by majestic Himalayan peaks like Nanda Devi, Auli transforms into a snow-covered adventure hub during winter, attracting skiers, snowboarders, and snow lovers from across the country.

Beyond skiing, Auli offers snowboarding, winter trekking, chairlift rides, and one of India’s longest ropeway experiences from Joshimath. During summer, the snow melts into lush green alpine meadows, making it equally scenic for nature lovers and trekkers.
