You have to reach and meet us in Tapovan (Rishikesh) as per above timings for rafting.

DAY 01-  Rishikesh-Devprayag-kaudiyala

DAY 02- Kaudiyala-Rishikesh

Grade :II-IV Rapid
Best Season : 2023

GENERAL NOTIFICATION

1. Rafting activity is subject to the weather conditions / Ganga water level / Government Instructions

2.  Marine Drive Rafting is allowed only for people above the age of 18+ years.

3. Elderly people are also not allowed for Marine Drive to Rishikesh rafting.

4.  Visitors are requested to report at Rafting office in Tapovan (main Badrinath Highway) in Rishikesh.

5. Pickup for Rafting is from Tapovan Office.

6. Customers are required to book their Rafting through Rafting Operators / Online Agencies only
Visitors are required to sign a disclaimer / liability waiver form on arrival.

7. Rafting, Body Surfing & Cliff Jumping activities are subject to the weather conditions
Rafting Entry Rs 20/- Per Person to be Paid by Visitors (Slip issued by Govt)

8. In case of road blocking due to traffic jam, landslide, storm or any other natural disaster etc. we shall not be responsible for any refund of fare
Visitors are requested to do Rafting early in the morning at around 7 or 8 am to avoid the huge Jam in Tapovan to Shivpuri Road.

9. Near Monsoon season, only 9 kms (from Brahmpuri) of Rafting would be provided. Whichever would be permissible by Govt after seeing the Ganga water level

10. Anybody found to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, medically or physically unfit (any serious ailment, weak heart conditions, epilepsy, asthma, expecting mothers etc) unfit for any reason/s in the wisdom of the river, guide/instructor will not be allowed the rafting trip or undertake any other adventure activities.

11. Request for a refund or a discount in such circumstance/s will not be entertained.

12. Decision of the river guide / management in this regard would be final

13. Bulky clothes, saree, necktie, long skirts, suits are not permitted.

14. Shorts, T-shirt preferably of synthetic material, floaters / sandals, sunglasses with strings are recommended
River Rafting is on sharing basis

15. Rafting is not allowed for the persons above 100 kgs of weight

Note: Forest entry fees of Rs 20 to be paid extra at rafting point. Smoking and Alcohol is strictly prohibited during rafting. Senior Citizens, Pregnant Woman, Diabetic, BP, cervical, knee problem, heart issue patients will not be allowed for marine drive rafting. Avoid rafting if you have any kind of fracture, injury or any other medical complications. Do consult your doctor if you are fit for rafting. Minimum age for rafting from Marine Drive River Rafting is 18 years.

Important Disclaimer: Sometimes, due to rainfall in higher Himalayas, the level of river may rise overnight. Considering the safety, it might effect rescheduling of rafting time, Changing the rafting stretch to lower grade (difference will be refunded) or shift the rafting to next day. The final decision will be of the Rafting guide, as he has years of experience and he will not compromise in the safety of our guests.v
