Overview
Agonda Beach is a public beach located in Agonda village in Goa, India, about 9.2 kilometres north of Palolem Beach in South Goa district, and about an hour from Margao. During the month of September, the beach serves as a nesting ground for olive ridley sea turtles. Local fishermen take tourists for Dolphin Rides. Watersports activities like kayaking, surfing, knee boarding, scuba diving are also popular activities. Water conditions here are suitable for surfing, windsurfing, bumper ride etc.
